Representing Northmos’ founder Keith Chan is Jane Phuah, a young visionary part of the award-winning design atelier. She speaks with a bright-eyed enthusiasm as she opens up on Northmos’ behind-the-scenes. To attain its current standing, the studio, almost unquestionably, sees setbacks and criticism as chances to grow. Open communication is heavily practiced both within the team and with clients and external partners, which has allowed Northmos to face challenges head-on and quickly address concerns right as they occur. The atelier prides itself on its persistence, taking on an attitude of pressing forward even when situations get complicated.

At Northmos, every team member is encouraged to grow and constantly learn. After all, as they upskill and improve, the design studio does, too. This goes hand in hand with another Northmos value, which is to embrace shifts in market trends. Northmos’ plan for the coming decade is to become a leader in sustainable design by incorporating smart systems that will help create highly functional spaces that are also eco-friendly.
