SBID International Design Awards 2026: Nu Infinity Receives Regional Award for ‘Retail Design’

Organised by The Society of British & International Interior Design, the SBID International Design Awards is one of the interior design industry’s leading accolades. For over a decade, it has recognised creativity, innovation and technical excellence across various sectors, celebrating the work of interior designers, product designers and contractors.

This year, Malaysia’s very own Nu Infinity was announced as one of the top-tier global design talents to receive an SBID Regional Award for its project entry, GAIAS, in the Retail Design category.

GAIAS is an established home linen brand, with its physical space designed around soft neutrals, natural textures and a sculptural statement piece that reflects the brand’s cosy and intimate setting.

Under the creative direction of Nick Fong and Alex Lee of Nu Infinity, the space is more than a retail store. It offers a tactile experience where visitors can appreciate the texture, weight and character of the linens up close.

With an esteemed international jury to lend their expertise, Regional Category Award Winners are the highest scoring projects from the Judges scores within their region.

This year’s Regional Winners showcase the most creative, innovative and forward-thinking design solutions around the world. The winning entries were selected by an outstanding panel of leading A&D experts for technical content, aesthetic creativity, fit-for-purpose design and functionality.
