WINNERS’ NIGHT

2024 Asia Architecture Design Awards

2024’s installation of the Asia Architecture Design Awards (AADA) concludes with a spectacular Winner’s Night at SO/Bangkok. Hosted by the Asia Awards Organization, this grand event celebrates and recognizes the groundbreaking and innovative projects that have made significant contributions to Asia’s architecture and design realm. Building on the success of 2023, this year’s AADA embraced the theme of “Emerging Asia”, highlighting the blend of tradition and innovation across the works of the region’s top architects and designers. This theme reflects Asia’s growing influence in shaping the global built environment.
Honoring the artistry of architecture and design, the 2024 Awards cover six disciplines across 30 categories. Highly coveted by industry professionals and organizations for its exceptional standards, AADA ensures all submissions undergo a rigorous assessment through a judging panel comprised of 20 distinguished experts from various fields — including design professionals, esteemed academics, and influential social advocates from Singapore, Thailand, Italy, and the UAE.
This year saw a significant rise in entries compared to 2023, with over 1,500 registered accounts and more than 606 submitted projects, reflecting both heightened competition and a swelling interest. The Winner’s Night was thoughtfully organized into four distinct sections, each highlighting different facets of design and architecture. The 2024 ceremony emphasises the ongoing evolution and innovation of the industry, but beyond recognising individual accomplishments, AADA also fosters an environment to build connections and encourage collaborations.
The final segment of AADA’s Winner Night saw the launch of a brand new season dubbed as “Vibrant Asia”. The 2025 Awards will cover six disciplines across 30 different categories while introducing three new additions: Best Furniture Design, Best New Firm in Architecture Design, and Best New Firm in Interior Design. Plus, a new award league, the 2025 ASIA ARCHITECTURE DESIGN AWARDS – STUDENT LEAGUE, is introduced into the AADA family. This prestigious competition offers aspiring architects and designers a unique platform to showcase their talent and creativity, while connecting with industry leaders, potential mentors and other trailblazing peers. The Student League will feature 10 categories.

2024 Asia Architecture Design Awards: A spotlight on triumph

Singapore, 16 July 2024 – The 2024 Asia Architecture Design Awards (AADA) Winner’s Night is set to take place at the prestigious SO/Bangkok on the evening of July 25, 2024. This highly anticipated event will honor excellence in architecture and design, highlighting remarkable achievements and innovations within the industry.

Building on the success of 2023, this year’s AADA focuses on “Emerging Asia,” celebrating the fusion of tradition and innovation across the continent. This theme symbolizes Asia’s growing influence in shaping the world’s built environment and honors the artistry of architecture.

The 2024 awards span six disciplines and 30 award categories, including Asia’s Best Architecture Design, Best Interior Design, Best Furniture Design, Best Hospitality Design, and Best Firms in Architecture Design. These accolades are highly coveted by industry professionals and organizations demonstrating exceptional excellence.

Submissions were accepted starting in August 2023 and underwent a rigorous preliminary selection process, culminating in the announcement of the shortlist. The judging panel, consisting of 20 distinguished judges from diverse backgrounds, including design professionals, esteemed academics, and influential social advocates from countries such as Singapore, Thailand, Italy, and the UAE, ensured a transparent and thorough evaluation process.

In addition to the highly competitive categories like Commercial Building Architecture Design, Best Residential Architecture Design, and Best F&B Interior Design, this year introduces a new category: 2024 Asia’s Best Conceptual Architecture/Interior Design (concept and in-progress projects). This new category has witnessed a surge in entries, highlighting the significant demand for innovative ideas and the importance of recognizing these concepts as foundational steps towards realizing future projects.

Beyond recognizing individual achievements, AADA honors masterpieces crafted by full-service firms that have significantly contributed to society. The awards aim to create an environment where businesses can forge connections, foster collaborations, and establish synergies that drive further expansion and success. By uniting strengths, the event fortifies the collective impact and amplifies voices on the global stage, leaving an indelible mark on the architectural landscape.
