Past the home’s main social spaces, the walls of the inner rooms have been painted a bright blue in order to facilitate a more peaceful state of mind for its occupants. Formerly the dining room, the first room on the left in the hallway was turned into a multifunctional room with black-frame glass sliding doors that match the ‘window’ that looks into the dining area. Equipped with wall-mounted shelves, upholstered chairs, a wooden desk and a bookcase made of wood and black steel frames, it was designed with versatility of use in mind.
Interestingly, this room is connected to the kitchen which sports a combination of white and dark grey cabinets as well as artistic wall tiles that enhance its visual profile. For the purpose of maximising space usage, it was extended further into a former yard area which has a different look that is defined by sleek black wall tiles and unfinished yet elegant-looking cabinets.
Further inside is naturally the master bedroom which has wood flooring and wooden furniture so that a calm atmosphere conducive for a good night’s sleep can be achieved. Meanwhile, the choice to furnish it with a grey diamond-tufted upholstered bed and paint the wall behind the bed with grey textured paint gives it that necessary personal touch. Next to the small nook where a work desk has been installed, a section of wall was torn down so that the adjacent room could be turned into a dreamy walk-in wardrobe with a primarily stone grey colour scheme.
