The designers ultimately settled on a modern contemporary style with a great deal of focus on minimalism for the home. Deceptive simplicity in terms of the décor and even the palette would be the key to making the project distinct without being visually overwhelming. To that end, a primarily monochrome colour scheme was applied to the residence with some harmonising tones sparingly added at strategic points for a welcome touch of contrast.
While the dining area inconspicuously distinguishes itself by featuring a dark brown wooden dining set, it remains true to the palette through the dark grey upholstery of its dining chairs. On the other hand, the kitchen manages to set itself apart while still complying with the core colour scheme by having white marble countertops and smooth white cabinets. This is offset by the black steel stools paired with the countertop and the three black pendant lights hanging overhead.
In the case of the living area, the irregularly-spaced vertical lines on the television wall running all the way to the ceiling add a great deal of character to it and help differentiate it from the dining area. Finishing off this look is the choice to furnish the place with a black television cabinet, grey L-shaped sofa, a pair of black and brown coffee tables and a black stand lamp. A grey rug and the grey balcony door curtains add another much-needed layer of texture to this setup.
