Named The Reborn House, the homestay easily impresses even from the outside with its use of black panels to decorate parts of its second floor exterior. For an added touch of artistic flair, he wall facing the gate boasts a large window designed to resemble a porthole. In order to offer an added level of luxury to the premises, part of the large garden was cleared to make room for a swimming pool with a dark hardwood deck.
Upon entering, quirky signs on the wall direct guests to head further inside with the first area they encounter being the living room. Designed to be the perfect place for all kinds of activities from birthdays to company team-building events, it has a fun and lively atmosphere. Set against a dark backdrop of black marble tiles and a rough concrete wall behind the television, its bright-coloured furnishings create a striking contrast that is perfect for photo sessions.
Meanwhile, the dining room boasts décor that seeks to create the impression of being in a rustic cabin in the great outdoors. Wood is undeniably the dominant element here from the feature wall behind the bar counter which also has a wood base to the rustic-looking dining set. Even the small section of wall under the stairs nearby has been covered in wood panels, further accentuating both the established theme and the room’s warm ambience. On a similar note, the kitchen achieves a nice balance of aesthetics and practicality with its white quartz countertops and wood grain kitchen cabinets.
Of course, it is the many bedrooms throughout the homestay that are the undeniable stars of the entire establishment. Each room has been designed to have its very own unique personality with some being more refined and others more cheerful. With feature walls and matching bed sheets being their key method of setting themselves apart, they offer a wide variety of aesthetics from countryside cottage to neighbourhood playground.
