For ten years, the Singapore Interior Design Awards has been documenting the people and projects shaping the region’s design landscape. This November, SIDA reaches its 10th edition, bringing that decade of work into focus at the SIDA Gala Dinner 2026 on 26 November.
Held at Marina Bay Sands, the evening will recognise outstanding designers, design firms and emerging talent, while unveiling this year’s award recipients.
The 2026 programme spans three main categories: SIDA Completed, which recognises built projects by industry practitioners; SIDA Concept, for conceptual un-built projects; and SIDA Youth, which celebrates completed academic projects by students from local and international design institutions. Across these categories, projects are considered across residential, hospitality, retail, workplace, exhibition, public space, F&B, healthcare and academia.
For its 10th edition, SIDA will also introduce several new special awards, including the SIDA Icon Award, Singapore Global Impact Designer and Singapore Global Impact Design Firm. They join established awards including Designer of the Year, Design Firm of the Year, Design Educator of the Year, Lifetime Achievement Award, Design of the Year, Young Designer of the Year and Luminary Award.
The Grand Jury Panel for SIDA Completed 2026 brings together five figures from across Asian architecture and design: Steve Leung, Founder of Steve Leung Design Group; Clint Nagata, Founder & Creative Partner of BLINK Design Group; Ar. Andra Matin, Principal of andramatin; Ajax Law, Founder & Creative Principal of One Plus Partnership; and Ar. Tiah Nan Chyuan, President of the Singapore Institute of Architects.
With a decade behind it, SIDA 2026 offers a moment to look back at how Singapore’s interior design landscape has evolved, while turning attention to the designers and practices shaping its next chapter.
