THE STRIDE, BBCC by Fuyu Dezain

Located within The Stride office building, this workspace merges cinematic storytelling with timeless and futuristic inspirations, reflecting the dual nature of the shared workspace. Designed for TOYM and Sunstrong Films, the space blends creativity with functionality, celebrating longevity and media production through dynamic design elements.

Visitors are welcomed by a reception area that establishes the workspace’s bold identity. Raw stone-like textures juxtaposed with sleek metallic finishes symbolize durability and modernity. The illuminated company logo reinforces branding, while bold blue acrylic panels add depth and transparency, hinting at the interconnected nature of the space.

In fact, there’s a story behind the design. TOYM’s vision of endurance is reflected in zircon-inspired textures, polished metal accents, and shimmering LEDs, symbolizing resilience and progress. Meanwhile, Sunstrong Films’ identity is captured through design elements honouring the three pillars of filmmaking—actors, behind-the-scenes professionals, and producers.

Flowing acrylic panels traverse the space, symbolizing the synergy required to bring a story to life, seamlessly connecting different zones while maintaining an open, dynamic atmosphere. A sculptural blue wave partition embodies creativity, while translucent walls featuring ‘VISION,’ ‘MISSION,’ and ‘VALUES’ resemble a film set backdrop.

Uniting both companies, a conceptual starlight feature wall bridges TOYM’s timeless vision with Sunstrong Films’ cinematic artistry. Besides, mirrored surfaces and the translucent blue wave partition define work zones, balancing fluidity with structure.

Moreover, designed for efficiency and inspiration, the workspace features ergonomically structured workstations that enhance productivity while maintaining a seamless aesthetic flow. The strategic use of blue hues in meeting rooms, lounges, and collaboration hubs fosters a calming yet engaging environment. Reflective surfaces amplify natural and artificial lighting, reinforcing the futuristic theme.

A standout feature is the circular blue glass meeting pod, perfectly designed for brainstorming and discussions. Its curved, semi-transparent structure maintains openness while providing privacy. The integration of state-of-the-art technology and ergonomic furnishings ensures optimal comfort and efficiency for creative and executive sessions.

The lounge and pantry area enhances connectivity among professionals. Deep-blue curved seating wraps around the space, fostering casual interactions. The bar counter with translucent stools echoes the cinematic theme, integrating film-strip-inspired design elements. Soft ambient lighting complements the space, making it a versatile hub for both networking and relaxation.

A dedicated makeup studio, equipped with backlit mirrors and professional styling chairs, supports Sunstrong Films’ production needs. Additionally, a soundproof recording and podcasting studio, illuminated with diffused warm lighting and lined with acoustic panels, ensures an ideal setting for content creation. The use of high-quality materials enhances both functionality and aesthetic appeal.

More than just an office, this workspace embodies a bold approach to workplace design. By integrating timeless materials such as zircon with futuristic acrylic features, as well as the conceptual starlight feature wall, Zoe has set a new benchmark for modern office design.
