As the world evolves, Sentral Suites stands as a poignant reminder that we should never lose sight of our origins. The themed rooms and lobbies within Sentral Suites pay homage to the diverse traditional Malaysian games and its culture.

Sentral Suites boasts three distinct lobbies. The “Congkak Lobby” features Calacatta Marble reception and circular seating reminiscent of the congkak board curves. The “Spinning Top Lobby” incorporates circular designs throughout the space, and the “Takraw Lobby” pays tribute to the traditional football game using Travertine Grey Marble flooring, Purestone Beige & Grigio porcelain wall tiles and rattan pendant lights.

Vibrant and whimsical, the “Bottle Caps Game Room” is where the essence of table tennis comes alive in a bright fusion of yellow and white hues. Here, the walls are adorned with irregular zigzag lines depicting the movement of the bottle cap game, cleverly accentuated by concealed lighting, and expansive glass windows unveil picturesque scenic views. As you step into the heart of the “Guli Game Room,” the captivating world of billiards and traditional game of flicking marbles intertwine. The enchanting ambiance
merges with dark-toned balls bathed in the spotlight’s glow, setting the perfect mood for an intense gaming session. And for those observing the matches, wooden stations offer a cozy spot to rest and keep score.

In the enthralling world of the “Capteh” dance studio, the beam lighting creates an atmosphere reminiscent of playing with the feathered shuttlecock. The ceiling, adorned with vertical black stripes, seems to mimic the graceful movements of dancers, while the studio’s windows offer serene views of lush greenery, providing a delightful environment for dancing enthusiasts. For fitness aficionados seeking motivation, the “Conquer” gym awaits with the inspiring slogan “Just Do It for Success.” The gym’s design features a tiled brick wall, cement-inspired flooring, and touches of white tape and wooden elements, fostering an atmosphere that encourages pushing boundaries and achieving greatness.

Next up is the “Eagle Catch Chicks” BBQ Area, a shaded oasis with an Octagon table and wingback chairs that cleverly symbolize a cosy nest. Look down, and you’ll notice the porcelain tiles adorned with diagonal patterns, reminiscent of the running patterns required to triumph in the thrilling game it commemorates. The “Galah Panjang” multipurpose hall on the other hand stands as a tribute to a traditional game, with its design boasting vertical lines and square motifs that harken back to the game’s roots. The space is versatile, catering to various activities and gatherings.

At the “Eraser Battle” seating area, you’ll find three-coloured tiles that playfully represent the different sides an eraser can fall on during the game. The ceiling, adorned with jagged lines, mirrors the energetic movements required to engage in the amusing eraser battle. Nestled next to each other, the “Five Stones” reading lounge is where the five stone pouches inspire the design of the space using a variety of colourful and textured fabric, while the charming “Breakfast Nook” is the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing breakfast and rekindle memories of these childhood games.

For the little ones, the “Masak-masak Kids Centre” awaits, a delightful play-eatery designed to spark their imaginations. Complete with booth seating, an Ikea play set and an array of toy foods, this space is every child’s dream come true. In the “Paper Plane Seating Area,” the artistic interplay of triangular shaped lighting, fabric seats, wooden chairs and textured flooring creates a cozy and inviting space. It’s the perfect nook to unwind and engage in conversations.

Finally, the “Tippy Tap Seating Area” offers a place for meaningful discussions, with its innovative triangular shapes and custom-made seats. Parents can also relax and keep an eye on their little ones playing in the nearby pool.

The integration of elements from traditional games into the very fabric of the building’s design serves as a testament to their unwavering commitment to bridging the gap between generations.

HIPSTER, TAMAN DESA KUALA LUMPUR

URBAN CULTURE | THE HIPSTER HAS BEEN METICULOUSLY DESIGNED TO RESONATE WITH THE PREFERENCES OF THE NEW GENERATION, SEAMLESSLY BLENDING CONTEMPORARY AND INDUSTRIAL ACCENTS. THE RESULT IS A SLEEK AND TRENDY APPEARANCE THAT EFFORTLESSLY CAPTIVATES THE DISCERNING EYE. BOLDLY UTILIZING DARK COLOURS AND STRONG ELEMENTS THROUGHOUT, THE ATMOSPHERE EXUDES MODERNITY AND SOPHISTICATION.

Approaching The Hipster, your attention is immediately drawn to the drop-off area. The entrance cleverly highlights the LED lit name “The Hipster” against a light grey background, serving as an eye-catching focal point. Stepping inside, the concierge area features large built-in concrete seating that creates a prominent and inviting feature. The Taj Mahal Sensa marble flooring adds an elegant touch to the space. The waiting area complements this aesthetic with matching planter box seating and wood panels shaped like sound waves, contributing to a visually striking ambiance.

Moving further into the lobby, a darker tone emerges, with granite materials beautifully contrasting against vibrant orange and beige furnishings. The counter and walls combine sleekness with warmth through a mix of white and wood panels. A white brick wall provides a visually appealing backdrop, adding an element of contrast that complements the overall design aesthetic.

The basketball court within The Hipster embraces a contrasting colour scheme of dark and light grey, perfectly accentuating the basketball floor material. This clever use of colour creates an energetic and visually appealing environment for sports enthusiasts. In contrast, the gym adopts a more contemporary design approach with surfaces in yellow, grey, and white. Motivational quotes adorn the walls, inspiring residents to push their limits and embrace an active lifestyle. The gym’s brick walls add texture and character to the space.

Tickling the senses, the walkway presents a unique twist—a hanging modern garden. This innovative concept brings greenery indoors, creating a refreshing and tranquil environment for residents and visitors alike. The hanging modern garden adds a touch of nature to the urban setting, offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Continuing through the development, the elevator lobbies seamlessly flow from the main lobby, featuring solid and bold colours, steel panels, and laminated panels adorning the walls. The lift lobby on Level 10 injects more colours and forms that are connected to active areas such as the gymnasium, swimming pool, multi-purpose hall, and management office.

At Level 10, each zone within The Hipster boasts its own unique accent colours. The Gymnasium is a vibrant space, filled with energetic yellow tones blended with green and grey carpet tiles. The directional layout of the tiles adds dynamism and brings
motivation and energy to the entire room. The multi-purpose hall features tiered seating adorned with different hues of grey, illuminating the space from top to bottom. In the management office, cosy wood grains and artificial veneer brick claddings create a warm and inviting atmosphere within the compact space, combining aesthetics with functionality.

As you approach the glass doors, the twinkling stars adorning them evoke a sense of wonder, as if stepping into the office is akin to entering a world beyond.

Inside, the design continues to unfold like a tale of tradition meeting innovation. The discussion areas are framed by dome shaped metal structures, a nod to the indigenous peoples of the world who held these forms in reverence. It’s a fusion of past and future, where respect for history merges with a vision for what’s to come. These domes not only symbolise heritage but also create an atmosphere of relaxation, sparking the flames of creativity and nurturing well-being. For more intimate conversations, tucked away in separate corners are wingback sofas, inviting tête-à-têtes between two individuals. Cloaked in white and grey, these corners are sanctuaries for confidential exchanges, where ideas flow freely in an aura of calm.

Walking further, the sensation underfoot changes as artificial grass carpets lead the way, connecting spaces like threads in a grand
tapestry. Vibrant orange cabinets catch your eye, setting the stage for the central showcase – a modern display rack. As you explore beyond, open office spaces sprawl toward the back, culminating in a pristine white pantry. This open space melds different materials to house an array of facilities, from a golf simulator that promises a perfect swing to a fully-equipped gym that caters to all fitness needs. LIFA GNEXT ensures that the body and mind are nourished in equal measure.

In the heart of the office, the bar area beckons with an air of opulence. Grey textured painted walls marry with the elegance of Bianco Carrara Marble, enhanced by gold finishes. The brown bar exudes sophistication, inviting you to unwind and indulge in moments of camaraderie. When it’s time to release your inner rockstar, a spacious karaoke room awaits, complete with a luxurious bathroom. Here, serenity intertwines with privacy, making sure that your voice echoes not only within the walls but also within your soul.

LIFA GNEXT goes beyond mere workstations; it’s a community. A private high table offers a perch from which to gaze upon the surroundings, while the lush community space invites relaxation. Glass and purple marble lend an ethereal quality, drawing attention to a snooker area, foosball table, and a darts corner.
