CBD Guangzhou 2026: A Convergence of Innovation, Supply Chains, and New Market Opportunities in Global Construction

From 8 to 11 July 2026, the 28th China (Guangzhou) International Building Decoration Fair (CBD) Guangzhou is set to welcome construction professionals from around the world at the Pazhou Complex, reinforcing its position as a leading global platform for sourcing, innovation, and business development.

The exhibition offers a unique gateway into China’s advanced manufacturing landscape. For the 2026 edition, it will be structured around three core ecosystems: INTERIOR (interior design, finishes, and integrated living solutions); EXTERIOR (building envelope systems, including doors, windows, and façades); and MATECH (materials, hardware, coatings, and advanced machinery).

Key sectors including smart home systems, bathroom solutions, and intelligent manufacturing are expected to define the exhibition’s content, demonstrating the construction sector’s broader shift towards integrated, technology-driven solutions that combine design, performance, and production efficiency.

What is CBD Guangzhou?

First held in 1999 and organised by the China Foreign Trade Centre Group (CFTC), the annual CBD Guangzhou encompasses the entire building decoration supply chain within an exhibition space of more than 300,000 sqm, from materials and components to finished solutions and advanced production technologies.

It serves as a one-stop sourcing platform for construction professionals worldwide such as developers, designers, distributors and manufacturers, offering them direct access to suppliers, competitive solutions, and integrated project capabilities.

The event’s growth into a major global business hub is best illustrated by the 2025 edition, which recorded a 47.22 per cent year-on-year increase in international attendance. During that period, it hosted 2,000 exhibitors, 205,621 professional visitors, and 8,602 international buyers from 145 countries and regions.
