In the beginning of the year, back in mid-February actually, the exquisite Verticas Gallery located in Petaling Jaya was officially opened to the public. A new showroom by Guocera, the gallery aims to showcase the limitless possibilities of the Verticas range of large-format porcelain slabs, considering the stunning line-up of high-quality patterns and textures as well as the variety of sizes and finishes made available to suit different styles and functional needs.

The collection extends beyond conventional applications and sparks a diversity of design possibilities for both indoor and outdoor spaces such as walls, countertops, flooring, furniture and more. In actuality, the two-storey space operates as something far more than just a well-designed showroom; it is an inspiration hub, a place where innovation meets design.

One of the series under the esteemed Verticas name is Breccia. Celebrated for its elegance and allure, Italian-sourced Breccia Aurora Marble features a warm beige base ingrained with veins, swirls or patches of darker, irregular fragments of various minerals and rocks. Inspired by all the exquisite visual details of this marble, Verticas launched the stunning Breccia collection designed by Martina Verturelli under the Latest Italian Designer Series; its innovative beauty has made it a worthy recipient of DOTY 2025’s illustrious Best Product Design Award.

Adapted to a new colour of grey, it embodies a contemporary touch to give a more distinctive character, unmistakable charm and eternal sophistication to modern architectural designs. It comes in two shades, two sizes and two surfaces (polished and satin velvet, with the latter made using “Shaped Ink” technology, as in soft natural reliefs created via advanced digital effect ink technology enable the creation of surfaces with an extraordinary three-dimensional effect that have exceptionally soft and natural textures).
