The way we furnish our homes continues to evolve, with textiles taking on an increasingly important role in shaping the character of our interiors. From sustainable materials to wellbeing focused design, Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles Autumn Edition returns to the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai from 18 to 20 August 2026, offering a closer look at the trends and ideas influencing contemporary living.

This year’s edition places a stronger emphasis on lifestyle driven design with the unveiling of Trends 2027, developed in collaboration with international trend forecasting agency NellyRodi™ Agency. Under the theme BREATHE UP!, the forecast examines three design directions, RE DECORATE, RE CONNECT and RE USE, reflecting shifting perspectives around sustainability, emotional wellbeing and more mindful approaches to everyday living.
The concept will be brought to life through a dedicated trend area featuring curated spaces and immersive installations, offering visitors a glimpse into the season’s emerging directions and the ideas shaping future interiors.
The fair will also introduce the new Home Textiles Lifestyle Zone, expanding beyond traditional textile categories to include complementary areas such as carpets, wallpapers, aromatherapy and home accessories. Reflecting the growing connection between home furnishings and lifestyle choices, the new zone highlights how consumers are seeking more cohesive and experience-led environments.

Alongside lifestyle focused offerings, the exhibition will continue to spotlight contract solutions and sustainable innovations, responding to the increasing demand for low carbon, wellness oriented and adaptable environments across residential, hospitality and commercial sectors.
Bringing together global brands, manufacturers and industry professionals, Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles continues to serve as a platform for discovering new ideas, creative collaborations and emerging directions shaping the future of interiors.
Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles – Autumn Edition is organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd; the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT; and the China Home Textile Association (CHTA).
