Choosing a course option to pursue one’s education is never easy, and Matthew Lim gone through with it the hard way. With encouragement from his tuition teacher, he chose Interior Design and the rest is, as they say, history. He soon worked and studied part time, growing his network along the way – and all these were before he formed Matthew Lim & Associates.

When they started out, they were specialising in F&B and selected residential projects, but now they’re mostly focused on property showrooms and sales galleries. His first project for a bakery in Pavilion caught the eye of the licensor who later commissioned him to work on the interior of his home. They have since been awarded an F&B project in Cambodia, which won them the A’ Design Award.
