The journey to success can be one that’s unconventional, as long as there is determination and the thirst to learn something new. Founder, Lim Swee Chong, realised that he had a knack for the home improvement industry, especially with the help of doing Arts in school and observing the construction industry. Armed with all these knowledge, he set foot on learning about interior design.

Two people who helped make this journey possible were his lecturer and his father, both of which encouraged him as he pursued his clienteles – the latter even named the company. Since its inception, Fuka has gone international and one challenge there would be getting the country’s locals to help coordinate the project, since the management team is made up of Malaysians. It would be great to see them move forward internationally since they are experienced in that area.
