Serena Foo and Charles Khor who are partners in life and co-founders of Chaos Design Studio found their passion for interior design and architecture in different manners. Charles went to Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) to complete Part 1 and Part 2 of Architecture while Serena picked architecture to break out of the mold. Applying for a placement in Universiti Sains Malaysia, and completing her Part 1, she (and Charles) went off to the University of Melbourne for Part 2. While she studied, Charles gained industry experience working in an architecture firm in Melbourne. With a foot in both the residential and commercial camps, Serena and Charles find inspiration from anywhere and everywhere.  With a workforce of 8 to 10 staff, Chaos Design Studio – that has been around for 8 years – chooses not to be boxed in by a signature style but rather prefer to design interiors from an architecture perspective where space planning and functionality are taken into consideration and practiced.
